Field Day
Yesterday was field day for Holden. Luck was on our side since the bad weather didn't move in until much later that afternoon. It turned out to be a nice sunny day although a bit warm, it didn't stop the kids from having fun. Unfortunately Holden's class didn't come in first in any of the games, but the kids didn't seem to care. Here are some highlights:

That's awesome that you had field day already. Our school always waits until the last day of school (in the middle of June) until the hottest day of the year. Yeah...that's fun. ;)
I am with you on that. Our last school in NC had it at the end of May. Yeah, it was hot and not a bit of a breeze to cool it off. Of course here in SC we are in the armpit of the south and if they waited until that late to have it they'd be carting the kids off in ambulances from heat exhaustion.
